Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Corner Pocket ("we", "us") collects when you play the game at this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: your email address and the username you choose when you sign up.
- Settings saved on your device: whether sound is on, whether you have seen the game tips, and a sign-in token so you stay signed in. These stay in your browser's storage and you can clear them at any time.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, payment details or location. There's no password: we email you a one-time code each time you sign in on a new device.
How we use it
- To create your account, make sure each email is registered only once, and email you sign-in codes.
- To show your username in the game.
- To run, secure and improve the website.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Advertising and cookies
On larger screens, the site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
If you visit from a region that requires it, such as the European Economic Area or the UK, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used.
The game's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages, countries and device types are most common. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites, and we only see totals, not individual visitors. The game also counts how many racks are started and finished (with the game mode and whether it's played on a phone or computer), without any names, emails or account details.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run the site: our web host, Cloudflare (domain, email forwarding and visitor statistics), Supabase (which stores accounts and sends sign-in codes, along with its email delivery provider), Google Fonts, and Google AdSense as described above. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and username for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove them within 30 days.
Your choices
- Delete your account or get a copy of your information by emailing us at the address below.
- Clear saved settings by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Limit ad tracking through Google's ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your information. Contact us to use them.
Children
Corner Pocket is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted in the game.
